PURPOSE OF THE SYSTEM

Social interactions between children

Parks are a meeting place for all ages and we want them to become the favorite places for children to be outdoors and develop their imagination.
We are studying a system that allows children to experience places away from the telephone. During the games that will take place within the BLeaf system, they will be able to see each other and interact with each other during the game rehearsals.
During the game we want to create a gradual move away from technology that pushes children to interact with each other and fully experience the green areas of the city.

Air quality control

One of the key roles that urban green areas play is to improve air quality and we want to help them.
With sensors for monitoring the various air pollutants, it will be possible to constantly monitor the quality of the air. By doing so, plans can be devised to improve the air we breathe every day.

Water optimization

Water plays an essential role in maintaining green areas and we do not want to waste even a drop. Thanks to our sensors it will be possible to constantly and specifically map the pre-established green area. Thanks to this mapping it will be possible to understand how the land works and to study an optimized water plan to safeguard all the species present.

THE PROJECT IN PRACTICE

For children

Using common smartphones with our app installed, you can play in all the equipped green areas. By opening the app, the system detects the presence of the system and first instructions are given via a message on the screen.
In the case of a preset game, the system will advise the player to position himself in the first stage to start the game. In the case of free play, the player can start from any point to begin to pass the tests. There will be a mandatory rule to be set in each mode: you have to collaborate. In the various tests to pass it will be necessary to collaborate with the other players in order to pass the tests.

For managers of green areas

Thanks to this system, green area managers will be able to offer additional services to citizens. This will allow a better experience of life of the place by the most common attendees. We will also work to encourage people to take part in the life of green areas by reducing the hours at home and increasing the hours outdoors.
In addition, using the sensors available it will be possible to optimize the maintenance costs of the green area by maximizing the quality of the place while controlling costs. This system will make all green areas smarter and more citizen-friendly.

For accompanying children

It will be possible to leave the children free to play while always having their position under control! Thanks to the mesh network it will be possible to geolocate players via the smartphone. In case you are no longer playing, thanks to a small BLE bracelet it will still be possible to keep track of the position of the children.

The community

The whole system will have an impact on the community around the green area. The degraded areas will be restored. Citizens will have a safer and cleaner place where they can spend time outdoors. Small local merchants will be able to tap into a larger user base.
